How To Sell
-
1. Get seller access
Every account starts as a buyer. Ask from My Page › Contact Admin and we will enable listing on your account.
-
2. Prepare your photos
Up to 10 images per listing, 5 MB each. The first one is the thumbnail. Photographs are watermarked automatically; the unmarked, full-size views are shown only to bidders.
-
3. Create the listing
My Page › Create Auction. Give it a title, a category, the item's condition and a description, then upload the photos.
-
4. Set the price and the schedule
Set a starting price, and optionally a Buy-It-Now price and a reserve. Choose how many days the auction runs and the hour it closes. Leave Open Time empty to open it immediately.
-
5. Ship, and get paid
When the auction ends, you and the buyer get a private thread. Agree the details there, confirm the payment, ship the item and mark the order as shipped. Both sides rate each other afterwards.
Listing Options
Everything below is optional. A listing with only a starting price works.
- Open Time
- — the date from which bidding becomes possible. The auction itself begins at the first bid, not at this moment. Leave it empty to open straight away.
- Closing hour
- — the time of day the auction ends, on a 24-hour clock. Write just the hour (e.g. 21) to have the minutes chosen at random: listings that all close on the same minute compete with each other.
- Buy-It-Now price
- — lets a buyer end the auction immediately at this price.
- Reserve price
- — the minimum you are willing to accept. It is not shown to bidders; if it is not reached, the item goes unsold.
- Participation deposit
- — an amount a bidder must deposit before bidding on this listing. Use it on high-value items.
- Bid approval
- — requires each bidder to apply and be approved before they can bid.
- Shipping unit
- — how many items' worth of box space this listing takes. Shipping is calculated from it, so several wins by the same buyer are quoted as one shipment.
- Payment methods
- — which of the site's methods you accept on this listing. Buyers see them on the auction page.
